BTT, the Poultry Product Board, is a SME-AG non-profit, non-government organization, located in Budapest. The association involves 1,810 enterprises among SME members (90%), and other enterprise members among Broiler Association, Laying hens Breeders and Egg Producers Ass., Turkey Ass., Duck Ass., Goose Ass., and Free-range Poultry Association. Hungary produces 254 Kt of chicken broilers/year (AVEC, 20121). The association activity covers the whole vertical production line of poultry products and represents the interests of the of the Hungarian poultry industry. The Poultry Product Board covers 90% of the whole Hungarian poultry industry. BTT undertakes to coordinate the work between the Hungarian researchers (MIKROLAB) and the other international participants of the consortium. BTT will disseminate all the results among its members. It will organize presentations and trainings throughout the country.
Key-personnel involved: Dr. Attila Csorbai, director of the poultry Product Board of Hungary, agricultural engineer, PhD degree (economic and organization science) – have research experience, and educations experience (more than 10 years). He will accomplished by mrs. Dr. Györgyi Molnár, agricultural secretary and mr. Peter Földi, (field assistant).
